Mande un mail a optima y me dijieron lo siguiente:

From what you have described, the battery may be sulfated to the point of not being able to hold a full charge. Any battery, not just Optima products, with a voltage below 12.4v is susceptible to accumulating sulfation. This chemical reaction crystallizes the solution in the battery, essentially prohibiting the area of that cell from holding a charge. The longer a battery sits at a voltage below 12.4v the greater the chance this can occur.

Some chargers have a "desulfating" or "pulsating" mode which is designed to help break up this sulfation. In many cases this can help remove some or most of the sulfation. I can also search for a location to assist you with testing/charging.
