Hola a todos

Cuando desarmamos mi motor, nos llevamos la sorpresa que la campana del wrangler 2.5 y caja AX-5 aperna perfecto a un motor de Hilux, y vice versa.

Por consiguiente, se puede cambiar la caja y transfer en un wrangler por una de Hilux, o vice versa. (Por ejemplo para poner yugos de Hilux o de K5 a un Wrangler o Cherokee)

Por que acabo de pensar en un Hi Lux con un 4.0 H.O. :twisted:

No creo, ya que a un 2.5 no se le puede poner una AX-15

La nueva hilux llega (a australia, en abril) con un motor opcional 4.0 vvt-i V6 de 250 hp, llegará ese modelo acá? no creo, pero es posible.

Jeep/Dodge AX15 5-speed, the Jeep NV3550 5-speed, the Toyota R150F & R151F, the 87-92 Toyota Supra Turbo R154 and the Isuzu AR5 5-speed all share the same case to bellhousing bolt pattern. As such there are a number of possibilities that can be had when a 5-speed is desired:

94-95 Dakota 2.5L bellhousing: Connects all to any K car based 2.2L-2.5L OHC L4 in a RWD application.

94-99 Dakota 3.9L V6 Bellhousing: Connects all to any 3.9L V6 and any 273/318/340/360 V8.

96-99 Dakota 2.5L bellhousing: Connects all to any Jeep 2.5L L4. Because of it's GM inherited bolt pattern, also works with any Buick FWD V6 and supercharged V6, any Chevrolet 2.8/3.1/3.4 V6, any Cadillac 4.1/4.5/4.9 V8 and with a minor modification, any Olds Aurora DOHC V8 and Cadillac DOHC Northstar V8.

88-99 Jeep 4.0L L6 bellhousing: Connects all to any AMC 290/304/343/360/390/401 V8 and any 72 and later 232 L6 and 258 L6.

aca anda un willys con motor v6 2.8 de cherokee y caja de hilux sin ningun injerto entre caja y transfer .todo esto se supo cuando al cherokee le sacaron el motor para colocarle un diesel toyota (2ct)y sorpresa calzo al toque con la caja del jeep por lo que sobro la caja del diesel y el v6 ycomo 4 dias despues que salio el cherokee debuto el willys que quedo andando bastante mas rapido que antes

Reparando hace un tiempo una Dakota 2.5 me di cuenta que la caja era Japonesa y muy parecida a las Toyota pero no segui investigando, ahora veo que no andaba tan perdido :wink:

Según leo y comprendo, Si tengo un R osea un 22RE > 95 ( no existe ) de eje piloto de 7.5 puedo ponerle una AX-15, por tanto podria ponerle un 4.0 HO a esa Hi Lux con la R151.

El problema de esta info es la fecha que no me cuadra mucho ..

Bueno en interney hoy en dia se encuentra casi de todo, sobretodo en los foros gringos de 4x4, los cuales por decirlo nos menos nos llevan años de ventaja en lo que a contenidos y profundidad se refiere.
Yo hace tiempo que sabie esta informacion, y no tiene nada que ver con advance adapters.

Para aclarar un poco.

toyota r151f y r150f son las cajas del modelo 22re turvo y v6 respectivamene.
toyota G52, W55, W56, W57 and W58 5-speeds son las cajas de las 4 cilindros en sus respectivos años.

la similitud entra la apernadura de las cajas de jeep y toyota:
jeep ax5 -> toyota G52, W55, W56, W57 W58 (light duty)
jeep ax-15-> toyota r151f y r150f (medium duty)

tiene que ver basicamente al hecho de que todas son hechas por la misma empresa (Aisin-Seiki) .

Jumm es que acá en Panamá no .. el 22R hasta el 94.

Any case, es posible ponerle un 4.0 HO a una HI Lux con caja H150 o H1541 .. ?
