De acuerdo a "trascendidos" los lugares habilitados para ver pasar la carrera se darán a conocer 2 días antes del paso de la caravana por el lugar es decir un buen lugar de centro de operaciones sería La Serena, estar atentos a las noticias y listos a partir con carpa cooler, cámaras varias pilas, gps, etc.
Creo va a ser entretenido. la fecha de concentración de eventos en Chile será creo del 10 al 14.
Si sé algo mas les aviso

Un lugar tipico de ver es en Huasco , la pasada del rio , el famoso rio de Carlo ( año 2002 ) , y despues partir por el camino costero que llega a Bahia Inglesa , que tiene varias salidas a la ruta 5 norte .Despues seria entrar al desierto el martes 13 , la especial mas larga de la carrera, creo que andare por ahi ......ojala.

un gusto saludarlos y agradecerles todo lo posteado ya que se aprende con los que saben de rallys.

ahora mi consulta: entiendo que no es llegar y irse a parar a la duna para ver el rally, saben ustedes o mejor dicho avisaran donde estaran los lugares habilitados para ver pasar las maquinas, en el especial de Copiapo,

PD: Don Pipo usted es el que la lleva en Copiapo, avise de los lugares habilitados para no perderse el rally y para no meterse en las patas de los caballos,,jajja

Te aconsejaría que lleves carpa, parrilla, tele y harta lectura porque hasta donde yo sé la carrera no pasa por Huasco

Spectator areas
The route of the Dakar 2009, which passes through more heavily populated territories than in previous years, welcomes spectators, especially those South Americans who love mechanical sports. The organizers have thus chosen to set up “spectator” areas for certain special stretches, which have been chosen for their accessibility, their interest and their capability to provide a safe viewing area for spectators.
The selection of these sites has been validated by the police in the regions concerned. The safety of these areas (set-up, markings, surveillance, flow management, etc.) will be ensured in the same spirit of collaboration. Highway safety patrols will provide reinforcement in these spectator areas.
In order to avoid a heavy influx and saturation of the spectator areas, the placement of these areas will be communicated, at each step, two days before the rally passes through the zone on the Dakar’s official Internet site, as well as published in the press.
SIX INSTRUCTIONS FOR SPECTATORS

1. Respect markings that have been put in place
2. Do not cross the race route
3. Watch out for your children
4. Remain at a safe distance
5. Do not build fires
6. Pick up your trash
