Aca salio el Test .... parece que los mismos gringos eligen a la nissan Titan por sobre las otras Chevy Silverado, Ram Hemi, Ford F150 '04, etc. .... Nissan la lleva y gana hasta en acelaracion y recuperacion .. !! :wink:

But the vaunted Hemi isn't that much stronger than the F150's 5.4-liter Triton V8 in the torque category (365 vs 375) and is actually 4-lb/ft shy of what the Titan 5.6L's 379 lb/ft. And, as any engine builder will share, it's torque and gearing, not horsepower that dictates how fast a vehicle accelerates up to about 60mph. From there on, horsepower plays its role.


A point aptly proved when the Titan, which can be run in either 2wd or 4wd mode, ended up being the quickest accelerating and fastest stopping of the foursome on the Gulfport Dragway's (Gulfport, Mississippi) quarter-mile track.

After a half-day at the dragstrip, the consensus among our four test drivers is if you're looking for the best four-door, four-wheel-drive pickup when it comes to straight-line performance, towing, or off-pavement prowess, the Titan has to be the first choice.

Yo tengo que decir cosas a Favor de la Tital a pesar que este segmento en que ella compite no me llama la atención ..

En 4Wheel & Off Road by Petersen's .. ( es muy beuna revista ) desde hace unos 4 meses le estan haciendo una fuerte .. Fuerte propganda a la Nissan Titan ..

En el estudio que le hicieron a las full size de su categoria, entiendase que no compararon peras con manzanas .. por eso me gusto mucho el Test .. hablan maravillas de la Titan ..

Yo no sé si es parte de la estra tegia comercial de nissan pero de que el auto está dando de que hablar .. lo está hacuendo definitivamente .. dehecho tengo acá la de march 2004 y la primeras paginas dicen ..

The Truck World will never be the Same y resto de flores aromaticas para el V8 endurance con un Tow Cap de 9500 lbs . que me parece muy respetable ..

Yo ya quiero ver una Titan con suspensión descente haciendo cosas como esta Toyota Tundra:

Bueno Pato .. lo que pasa es que debemos estar claros en algo .. no comparemos peras con manzanas .. 8) Titan dista mucho de estar al mismo nivel de una Tundra TRD :twisted:
